History

Nearly a decade since its inception, Velocity Servers Inc. continues to build off its proud heritage.

In the very beginning "Velocity Servers," more accurately described then as "Velocity Game Servers" helped mold the game server provider space. During 2003 and 2004 Velocity enjoyed a position of little competition as the market slowly matured. At the same time, the company was the first to offer a high performance product in an industry flush with mediocrity. The consumer would never look back -- from then on game servers were about quality first.

Recognizing an increasing niche in ultra high performance, Velocity Servers Inc. commissioned a new division, Summit Servers. Known by its slogan "The Peak of Performance Hosting," Summit impressed consumers with quality never before seen. Six years after opening in 2005, the operation maintains remarkable brand value and reputation.

Further expanding the corporation's footprint, ColoCrossing arrived in early 2006. Servicing customers who demand high availability dedicated servers, colocation and hosting solutions. ColoCrossing continues to enjoy strong growth thanks in part to its excellent reputation and clear 100% uptime SLA (service level agreement).

2007 brought another division (our first software project), Mohawk Voice - the next generation in voice and video communication. The first commercially available version of Mohawk Voice was released in November 2009. Since version 1.0, there have been two major updates and the product’s success continues to surpass expectations.
